I am an Assistant Professor at Boston University interested in analytic number theory and the theory of automorphic forms. Before arriving at BU I held positions at MIT and Columbia University. I did my PhD at Princeton University with Robert Langlands and Peter Sarnak, and I completed my undergraduate degree at METU in math (and a little bit of electrical engineering).
My research mainly revolves around analytic aspects of automorphic forms, L-functions, functoriality conjectures, and trace formulae. Recently, I have also gotten interested in arithmetic statistics and certain aspects of cryptography.
My research is supported by the NSF (DMS-1702176) and a startup grant from BU.
